Alumni Program
Since 1991, more than 1200 individuals have transitioned from homelessness back to a life of self-sufficiency as a result of Rainbow Village.
Alumni Program
After completing the Rainbow Village resident program families are encouraged to participate in our Alumni Program.
The Alumni Program provides ongoing support and community as our families move on to homes of their own. Alumni Program children and youth may continue to attend the After School and Character Building Programs. Alumni Program adults are encouraged to continue participating in the Life Skills program . Alumni meet together to share their accomplishments and struggles and provide support to their peers.
Continued Commitment
Rainbow Village believes in continued commitment to our families. The Alumni Program is a way for former residents to receive continued support from Rainbow Village while working toward greater levels of independence after they move into homes of their own.

Individual Service Plans
Individual Service Plans are created for each family as they begin the resident program. These plans are designed to provide a guide for applying the self-sufficiency skills learned and applying them toward maintaining and sustaining housing.
Alumni family children and youth are eligible to attend the After School program, Big Recess and Character Building classes.
Adults are encouraged to continue to participate in the Life Skills program as peer mentors.
We need your help!
Volunteer
Rainbow Village is committed to making sure our volunteers are well-trained and oriented to our work before we put you into action. Our Community Engagement staff coordinates internally with staff to provide a seamless and rewarding experience for our volunteers.
Donate
Our village has grown, from accommodating 18 to 30 families! Please join us in serving these 30 families by making a tax-deductible donation to help maintain the high-quality program that has transformed more than 1,000 lives since 1991.
Partner with Us
Since 1991, Rainbow Village’s numerous, long-standing collaborative partnerships with civic clubs and community organizations, faith-based groups and companies of all sizes have yielded the volunteer power and program support necessary to provide the full complement of services necessary for families to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence.
